Continuing generations of Fahri's family legacy of making olive oil, Skipstone's certified Organic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced with timeless traditional methods:  hand-harvesting and cold pressing our Manzanillo olives.  100% of all proceeds from our Olive Oil are donated to the Geyserville Volunteer Firefighters.

A majestic olive orchard blankets the first slope of the drive up the mountain from the gate of the Skipstone property to our estate vineyard above Alexander Valley. The seven-acre hillside grove is home to 550 Manzanillo olive trees that range in age from four to over 40 years old.  Fahri’s fabled heritage as a third-generation olive farmer from the Mediterranean island of Cyprus has given us unique insight in to the farming of our sacred grove of olive trees. 

Careful sustainable farming practices have been implemented since our first year of operation, and we are very proud that the orchard and our Melina’s Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil are certified Organic by the prestigious CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers).  Every autumn, at the peak of the season, the olives are carefully handpicked and cold-pressed the same day, often within hours.
